Hello
Here I am with my dog, Treacle, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. If you ask Treacle, she'll say that I like to get up early to walk her (rain or shine), I always have treatos in my pocket and that she's a good girl.
What's it all about?
This is a space for my fiction writing. I like to write short stories that start off strong and, although you have no idea where they're going to end up, you're completely satisfied by the ending. Sometimes they're short-short stories, and sometimes I find myself Googling 'length of novella'.

As well as writing fiction, I'm also widely published in my academic life as a human geographer. My research focuses on place, identity, community empowerment, volunteering and social innovation. If you fancy reading the academic stuff, jump on this website.
