Goliathia Tremayne lived in a shack fashioned from bits of corrugated iron, railway sleepers, and the mast of a ship in a thorny, gorsey hollow half way up Carn Brea. Her best friend Jason lived in the yard, in a homemade tent the size of a coffin.

My first published short story, 'The Triumph of Goliathia Tremayne', appeared in the anthology Cornwall Secret and Hidden, an eclectic collection of short stories written by authors in Cornwall. The anthology contains 28 short stories by 26 authors in 358 pages. Available in paperback or Kindle editions, it has an original and beautifully illustrated book cover and includes black and white illustrations.
